Laundry and mudroom areas receive light cleanup only. We do not wash dishes or wash, dry or fold clothes. Bed-linen changes are available upon request for an additional $20 per bedroom. Customers usually provide the clean replacement linens; we confirm arrangements before the visit. Cleaning inside appliances, cabinets or storage areas costs extra; ask us first and we’ll quote it. Deep cleaning does not automatically include these extras.

On the first visit we bring all the cleaning products and our own vacuum. On later visits we still bring our vacuum, and we use your products: you can buy the ones you like, or we can buy them for you and give you the receipt.

How much does house cleaning cost in Mountainside, NJ?

What is included, and which services cost extra?

The room-by-room checklist covers kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, and things people touch often, like handles and light switches. Mudrooms and laundry areas receive light cleanup only. Dishwashing and laundry (washing, drying, folding) are not part of the visit.

Interiors of appliances, cabinets and storage spaces, plus the inside of window glass, are paid extras, priced for you before we book. A deep clean does not add those extras on its own.

If you want the beds changed, that is $20 extra per bedroom. You normally supply the fresh linens, and we settle the details ahead of the visit.

How do I book, and do I need to be home?

Send your Mountainside address, rooms, parking and entry details, stairs, pets, product preferences and any requested extras. We confirm what we clean, the price and an available Monday–Friday appointment before booking.

Being at home during the clean is not required. Handing us a key or an entry code is entirely optional. We take one only when you decide to offer it. Please send any door, lockbox or alarm code privately while we set up entry, never through the quote form. Daniela is at every cleaning. We have lived in Kenilworth since 2007. DM House Cleaning has served clients since 2019.

Is the first visit a deep clean?

Usually. Most plans begin with one deep clean; if our crew has walked through your home before the agreement, we can begin with a regular visit instead.

Do you bring cleaning supplies and a vacuum?

We bring every product and our own vacuum on the first visit. From the second visit on we still bring the vacuum and switch to your products: ones you buy, or ones we buy for you with the receipt.
